Whitewater Rescue Technician Professional (WRT-Pro)

The Whitewater Rescue Technician Professional is designed for professional river users who require a rescue capability in a whitewater environment, e.g. raft guides, safety kayakers. This course is recognized by Maritime New Zealand and the New Zealand Rivers Association as an appropriate qualification to work as a river guide.

  • Prior river experience

  • Must be a confident swimmer
